Not sure if you are asking me directly or posting this to the larger reader audience. I do not use 365Command, have looked at it, but as this post reflects, my company is in the process of creating a tool as well.

Thanks for the rundown Sean--this was quite helpful for a 2003->O365 project I'm helping an SMB client with. They could do it all in one weekend go, but they opted for coexistence, so we're building out VMs to support the full hybrid/FS scenario.

Dan,
Yes I messed up! :) I meant to highlight that Policy Tips not available in anything other that Outlook 2013.

I have requested that the paragraph:
Currently, DLP works only with Outlook 2013; OWA in On-premises or Office 365 cannot process DLP policies. Obviously, this is a crucial point to make. To ensure that DLP is applied, make sure you have deployed Office/Outlook 2013 and would also need to prohibit users from using OWA. At the time of writing this, there is a known issue with disabling OWA access for a user.

be updated to Read:

Thanks Sean - awesome article! I do have a question though on the statement below. This refers to DLP Policy tips not being available in OWA right? I tested sending DLP information from OWA and it is indeed blocked with a NDR, but of course no policy tip is shown. Maybe I am not interpreting this correctly. Just want to ensure I have the correct info for my clients!
