Today at the Converge 2015 Conference Microsoft announced some big news! First up is the Skype for Business, the replacement of Lync, Technical Preview is now available. The Technical Preview is now available for the Client software. But it appears as of right now it only applies to Lync Client installs via the MSI and not Click To Run as I tried installing on my machine but got the below message:

Still looking around for an install the will work with Click to Run installs of the Office suite.

The second announcement is that Office 2016 IT Pro and Developer preview is now available. I have not installed but it does appear that an Office 365 Business or Enterprise subscription is required. The information from the Connect site also states that Office 2016 with not run side-by-side with a previous version of Office. Probably going to spin up a VM to check out Office 2016 and keep 2015 on my primary machine.

The 3rd big announcement is that Delve is rolling out to all eligible Office 365 Business customers. Delve is pretty cool, it discovers and displays content from SharePoint, Exchange and social feeds within Office 365. It is quite handy for catching up on what your co-workers are working on and public information within you company.
